Camille Seaman :: Witness of a Storm-Chaser

The extraordinary photographs Camille Seaman has taken as a part of her "Big Cloud" series astounds me - - even as I stare into these images or storms and tornados, I can feel the hairs on my neck rise as my inner animal recognizes a force stronger my puny human might is rapidly approaching camera.

Enjoy her TED talk here {click}

And her website is here:

Please click on these lovely shots - they are amazing BIGGER.

Nicholas Cope: The Fine Art of Photography

Few photographers are as inspiring or original as  Nicholas Cope.  Whether he is playing with 3-d modeling, or photographing the way that liquids dissolve into one another at close range, his work is sure to excite.

Toxic Waste Never Looked So Good

Edward Burtynsky's landscapes featuring toxic waste have such a delightful poetry to them, you might forget that you're looking at a horrific oil spill, or industrial waste that has destroyed the natural balance in a remote unpopulated area.

This is only one of his exciting projects - I suggest you check out his fine art photography projects here:

Imagine how delightful these images are as large-format prints - which is how he sells these works at galleries around the world.  Enjoy.

Chip Forelli :: The World in Black and White

I regularly enjoy going to Chip Forelli's site and looking at his work just because it is so beautiful. I worked with him many years ago, it went very well, and I own one of his prints. Some of his images sort of reminds me of Tom Baril, another one of my favorite black and white photographers - a comparison I am sure he would find flattering :-)

But really, if you don't know who I am talking about when I say Tom Baril, go to his website. His images are so amazing they make me want to cry.
