His other images beyond The Portrait Project have an expansive emptiness, that allows the viewer to enjoy the calm feeling of introspection of created by so much negative space. While the world he creates may be a lonely one, you get the feeling that his subjects, and you in turn, are enjoying a secret inner world, whose possibilities are open to your contemplation.
